Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) received weaponry menace emails for 3 flights, including 2 international, arriving from antithetic cities. The menace were declared arsenic hoax aft information checks, constabulary said connected Monday (December 8, 2025).

The airdrome received emails connected precocious Sunday nighttime targeting British Airways' (BA 277) from Heathrow, Lufthansa’s (LH 752) from Frankfurt and IndiGo's 6E 7178 from Kannur. The airdrome sources said each the flights landed safely. The 2 planetary flights landed present during the aboriginal hours of Monday.

"Standard information protocols were initiated for each 3 aircraft," sources said. Standard information protocols include isolation of the aircraft, screening of baggage and passengers, keeping occurrence engines acceptable and pressing sniffer dogs into services, among others, sources added.

"The RGI Airport Customer enactment received the weaponry menace emails connected Sunday. Security checks were carried retired and thing suspicious was found. The menace emails turned retired to beryllium a hoax," a constabulary authoritative said. Further probe is on.

Last week, the RGIA received weaponry menace emails for the Dubai-Hyderabad Emirates flight, IndiGo's Madinah–Hyderabad and Sharjah-Hyderabad flights separately. The Madinah–Hyderabad formation was diverted to Ahmedabad airport.
