HR&CE officials seal eight more shops at Vennaimalai in Karur district

After a spread of a week, the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment (HR&CE) connected Thursday resumed the thrust of sealing properties, which were allegedly built illegally connected the lands owned by the Balasubramanya Swamy Temple astatine Vennaimalai here.

The officials, who had served notices to those enjoying the properties to vacate them arsenic per the bid of the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, visited Vennamalai amid heightened information and began sealing the shops situated adjacent the temple. Though the traders and the section residents powerfully opposed the action, the officials went up with the thrust and sealed 8 shops.
