Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha connected Monday inaugurated the renovated District Police Training Centre astatine Kotha Mamidipalem adjacent Ongole. The installation has been upgraded with modern amenities for grooming constables.
Addressing trainees, the Home Minister said constables were the backbone of the Police Department and stressed the request for disciplined and value-based training. She besides inaugurated the nine-month basal induction grooming for 193 SCTPCs (Civil) – 2025 batch candidates from East Godavari district.
Emphasising discipline, work predisposition and accountability, she said nonrecreational skills, cognition of laws, modern exertion and carnal fittingness were indispensable for effectual policing. Later, she inspected the barracks, classrooms, parade crushed and different infrastructure astatine the centre.
