An anonymous email claimed that bombs had been placed successful astatine slightest 5 locations, including the residence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and the bungalow-cum-office of Governor R.N. Ravi. After thoroughly searching the premises, the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) declared the menace a hoax.
Police sources said that astatine 4.10 a.m. connected Friday (October 3, 2025), an email containing a weaponry menace was sent from the ID ‘Sabarisan Vedamurthy’ to the bureau of the Tamil Nadu Director-General of Police. The email claimed that 5 RDX explosives had been planted astatine the Chief Minister’s residence connected Chittaranjan Road, which falls nether the jurisdiction of the Teynampet constabulary station. The BDDS conducted a hunt of the premises but recovered nary explosives.
