Hoax bomb threat to Russian Cultural Centre in Chennai

An email claiming a weaponry menace was sent to the Russian Cultural Centre located connected Kasturi Rangan Road successful Alwarpet, Chennai, connected Friday (October 31, 2025), said constabulary sources.

Following an alert, constabulary personnel, on with Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) unit and sniffer dogs, rushed to the centre and conducted a thorough hunt of the premises. The inspection revealed that the menace was a hoax.
