Campaigning for the 2nd and last signifier of West Bengal Assembly polls ended connected Monday (April 27, 2026) amid a fierce governmental conflict dominated by exchanges implicit SIR, infiltration, corruption and unemployment, with some the BJP and the TMC making a slew of promises to voters crossed 142 constituencies.

During the high-octane campaign, the BJP enactment accused the ruling TMC of turning West Bengal into a haven for infiltrators, portion Mamata Banerjee alleged that the saffron enactment was indulging successful divisive politics, attempting to bifurcate the authorities and discouraging depletion of food and eggs.
