A escaped aesculapian campy for barbers was inaugurated by G.V. Selvam, vice-president, VIT University and Chairman of Vellore International School (VIS), Chennai, astatine the Police Welfare Centre successful Old Town connected Friday.
According to a property release, the day-long campy provided wide aesculapian check-ups, cardiac evaluations, dental check-ups, and orthopedic assessments, on with Siddha and Ayurveda treatments. The campy was jointly organised by Thalaimurai Peravai, a section voluntary organisation and Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre (SNHRC).
Free medicines and tablets were besides distributed to the participants. Those required precocious treatments were referred to Sri Narayani Hospital, wherever they could avail attraction astatine subsidized rates. More than 100 persons participated successful the camp.
On the occasion, Professor N. Balaji, director, SNHRC, and Sivagami, erstwhile District Collector (Vellore), were present, the merchandise said.
