The House Committee of Hubballi Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC), which was constituted to look into the alleged irregularities successful the implementation of the ‘Smart Healthcare’ strategy successful the municipal hospital, has recovered respective lacunae and recommended betterment of ₹70 lakh from the contractor of the Smart City Mission programme.
Chairman of the House Committee of HDMC and erstwhile Mayor Veeranna Savadi told property persons successful Dharwad connected Friday that it had been recovered that ₹70 lakh had been paid towards wage of outsourced unit of the Chitaguppi infirmary tally by HDMC, wherever ‘Smart Healthcare’ strategy was implemented nether the Smart City Mission.
Mr. Savadi said that the location committee had completed the enquiry into the irregularities successful the implementation of Smart Healthcare strategy astatine Chitaguppi Hospital and submitted the study with its proposal to Hubballi Dharwad Mayor Jyoti Patil connected Friday.
He said that already the bureau of Hubballi Dharwad Smart City Limited had been closed. “While the tender process has been conducted properly, support has not been taken from HDMC. Of the full ₹3.26 crore grants, ₹2.4 crore has been utilised for procurement of software, printer and for different works. However the services of outsourced unit of HDMC person been utilised for maintenance. We person recommended for betterment of ₹70 lakh which was paid to the outsourced unit from the contractor of the astute metropolis scheme,” helium said.
Mr. Savadi besides said that they had recovered respective lacunae successful the implementation including sub-standard medicine vending instrumentality and others. “We person submitted our study to the politician and recommending continuing the strategy with due implementation,” helium said.
Earlier headed by Mr. Savadi, the members of the location committee Iresh Anchatageri, Shivu Hiremath, Mayur More submitted the study to Mayor Jyoti Patil and Deputy Mayor Santosh Chavan successful Dharwad.
Mayor Jyoti Patil told the presspersons that the study would beryllium submitted to the municipal commissioner for taking due measures.
