HC warns petitioner for filing petition for publicity

The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court connected Thursday dismissed a petition filed by K.K. Ramesh of Hindu Dharma Parishad, Madurai, who sought a absorption to the Central authorities and the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to instruct the State authorities to instrumentality enactment against those officials who had denied support to the Hindu devotees to airy lamps and behaviour worship atop the Thirupparankundram hill, but granted support for Ramzan celebrations.

A Division Bench of Justices N. Sathish Kumar and M. Jothiraman dismissed the petition. The tribunal said the petition was filed for publicity and warned the petitioner.
