Hackathon on SDGs held at VVCE in Mysuru

The “SUSTAINATHON” hackathon got disconnected to a commencement connected Tuesday astatine the H. Kempegowda Sports Complex astatine Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) here.

The lawsuit was organised by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and presided implicit by Gundappa Gowda, honorary president of Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Mysuru. Anoop Srikantaswamy, CEO of MoonRider.AI, Bengaluru, was the main guest.

In his address, Mr. Srikantaswamy encouraged students to question proposal from everyone but marque their ain informed decisions. He urged them to ‘identify the unsocial superpower that differentiates you from others’, motivating participants to clasp individuality and innovation.

The hackathon was designed astir the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), challenging students to make sustainable, impactful, and technologically dependable solutions to code real-world societal issues, a property merchandise said.

About 54 teams participated successful the event. Students from Mangalore, Belagavi, Dharwad, Bengaluru, Erode (Tamil Nadu), and respective different regions competed for the prizes.
