The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has bagged 3 nationalist awards astatine the 47th All India Public Relations Conference – 2025, organised by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) nether the taxable ‘Empowering Growth, Preserving Roots – The PR Vision for 2047’, held astatine Dehradun, Uttarakhand, from December 13 to 15.
The 3 awards won by the corp were for — Best CSR Project for Child Care – archetypal prize for implementing an outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) task aimed astatine kid payment and wellness extortion done programmes conducted astatine the GVMC-run Balyam Vidya Kendras successful Visakhapatnam, focusing connected children’s health, education, safety, nutrition, and care; Best Use of Social Media successful a Corporate Campaign – won the archetypal prize for the effectual usage of societal media successful the corporation’ scorporate-level campaigns to disseminate accusation connected metropolis services, governance initiatives, and nationalist consciousness programs to citizens; Women Empowerment and Community Development won the 2nd prize for the palmy implementation of programmes aimed astatine women empowerment, societal and economical development, self-employment, and capableness building.
GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg said that the awards were presented connected December 14 by the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, erstwhile Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal and PRSI National President Dr. Ajit Pathak. GVMC Additional Commissioner D.V. Ramana Murthy received the grant connected behalf of the corporation.
