A Grade I constabulary constable has been placed nether suspension connected charges of extorting wealth from assemblage students threatening to implicate them successful cause cases unless they paid him money.
According to the police, Poovaraghavan, a Grade I constable attached to the Neyveli Township constabulary station, had allegedly extorted ₹1.30 lakh successful currency from a fewer assemblage students who were recovered smoking.
