The Andhra Pradesh authorities has introduced a large betterment successful municipal rent policy, replacing steep periodic hikes with a mean yearly summation to amended occupancy and gross realisation successful the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).

As per G.O.Ms.No.92 issued by the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Department, the caller rules regenerate the earlier 33⅓% rent hike erstwhile each 3 years with a 7% yearly summation during the lease period.
