In a measurement towards mitigating the drinking h2o scarcity successful agrarian areas of the State, the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (RDPR) Department connected Monday (May 4) released an further ₹72 crore, bringing the full allocation for drinking water-related works since March 2026 to ₹208.67 crore.

Announcing this, RDPR Minister Priyank Kharge said this full magnitude is being utilised for exigency drinking h2o projects arsenic good arsenic for clearing the pending payments of works antecedently approved by the Drinking Water Task Force committees.
