The Tamil Nadu Government Officials Union connected Saturday appealed to Chief Minister M.K. Stalin to hike Dearness Allowance (DA) for State authorities employees by 3%, which would mean that DA accrued from 55% to 58% of basal pay. In a missive to Mr. Stalin, the union’s State president T. Amirthakumar said the Centre had approved a 3% hike successful DA. “I entreaty to Chief Minister Stalin to hike the Dearness Allowance for State authorities employees, teachers, pensioners, household pensions, peculiar clip standard wage employees, and those connected consolidated wage from July 1, 2025,” helium said. Mr. Amirthakumar added that if the hike was effected immediately, it would promote authorities employees to enactment harder, and it would beryllium utile during the Deepavali season.
