Government approves UG power cable network in Mangaluru and Ullal at estimated cost of ₹293 crore, says U. T. Khader

Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker and Mangaluru MLA U. T. Khader connected Tuesday, said the authorities has approved laying of underground powerfulness cables successful parts of Mangaluru City Corporation, Ullal City Municipal Council, Someshwara Town Municipal Council and Kotekar Town Panchayat astatine an estimated outgo of astir ₹293 crore.

The sanctioned works, to beryllium executed by Mangalore Electricity Supply Company and Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd., would commence soon, Mr. Khader told reporters earlier attending a gathering astatine the MESCOM Corporate Office here. He said tenders for the works were finalised and enactment bid issued connected March 25.
