The iconic Godavari Express (Train No. 12727/12728), operating betwixt Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam, was awarded the ‘Best Maintained Long-Distance Train Operating Shield’ by South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava astatine the 70th Railway Week celebrations held astatine Rail Kalarang, New Bhoiguda, connected Thursday.
The ‘Overall Best Performance Efficiency Shield’ was jointly presented to the Hyderabad and Guntakal divisions, recognising their achievements crossed aggregate operational parameters.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Srivastava called for systemic reforms with time-bound improvements crossed lawsuit service, maintenance, production, and operations. He stressed the value of accountability and urged unit to upgrade their skills to lucifer emerging technologies. Hyderabad Division for biology and housekeeping, awesome and telecom, and the GM’s wide ratio shield (shared with Guntakal).
Vijayawada Division for commercial, electrical (general services), HRD, and civilian engineering (shared with Secunderabad). Guntakal Division for operations, moving country management, elimination of level crossings (shared with Nanded), and grievance redressal, etc. A full of 86 unit besides received idiosyncratic awards for outstanding performance.
