The Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery astatine G. Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital (GKNM), Coimbatore, completed 50 years, performing implicit 45, 000 cardiac surgeries.
The Department, which was established successful 1974, performs much than 1,800 open-heart surgeries per year, said a merchandise from the infirmary that celebrated the department’s completion of 5 decades connected October 4.
