The University School of Liberal Arts at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) organised a two-day national conference on May 14 and 15 on the theme ‘Indian Knowledge Systems: Continuities, Ruptures and Synthesis‘. 

Queeny Pradhan, in-charge of the University School of Liberal Arts, said the league aimed to bring unneurotic scholars, researchers and students from divers disciplinary backgrounds to prosecute successful captious conversations connected the evolving tract of Indian Knowledge Systems. 

The conference witnessed the information of respective distinguished scholars and eminent nationalist intellectuals. 

The inaugural league featured noted nationalist intelligence Sachchidanand Joshi, subordinate caput of Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts. Dr. Joshi underlined the ubiquity of creation and emphasised the request to uncover cognition systems embedded successful the rhythms of mundane life. 

Renowned subject historiographer Deepak Kumar delivered the keynote code and highlighted the value of respecting each forms of indigenous knowledge. The yearly newsletter of the University School of Liberal Arts, ‘Navkriti’, was besides released connected the occasion. 

The inaugural league was followed by a peculiar code and method sessions chaired by governmental idiosyncratic Madhulika Banerjee and sociologist Vivek Kumar. 

The second time of the conference witnessed rigorous discussions crossed a divers scope of presentations. Savita Singh from Indira Gandhi National Open University shared elaborate feedback with the presenters. 

The round-table treatment featuring Dev Nath Pathak, Manindra Nath Thakur and Vivek Sachdeva was a large attraction for attendees. The league was moderated by N. Raghuram of the University School of Biotechnology, GGSIPU. 

The valedictory code was delivered by Ananya Vajpayee of the Centre for the survey of Developing Societies.
