Gang held for duping car owners on rental pretext, seven vehicles worth ₹80 lakh recovered

The Chilkalguda constabulary connected Thursday arrested 2 men who allegedly ran a racket that lured car owners into giving their vehicles connected rent and aboriginal disappeared with them. Seven four-wheelers worthy ₹80 lakh were recovered from the duo.

The arrested were identified arsenic Sangishetty Praveen Kumar, 44, a operator from Namalagundu, and G. Amarendar, 32, a businessman from Tarnaka. Their associate, Md. Rizwan, 33, of Mustaidpura, is absconding.
