In the latest development, a caller FIR has been registered against Snehamayi Krishna and erstwhile Bengaluru University prof Mylarappa B.C. pursuing a ailment by Pavithra B.N. The FIR was registered connected February 21.
According to the complaint, dated December 6, 2025, the complainant stated that connected the evening of December 5, she received a missive astatine her residence. The missive allegedly contained defamatory statements astir her precocious hubby and her advocator Raghu, and referred to a ailment purportedly filed astatine the Mahalakshmipuram Police Station seeking reinvestigation into her husband’s death. She claimed the missive was sent by Krishna.
The complainant further alleged that, on with the letter, a threatening enactment was enclosed, pressuring her to retreat cases filed against Mylarappa. The missive reportedly contained a mobile fig and allegedly included threats and abusive language.
She stated that the actions of the accused person caused distress to her and adversely affected her children’s education, disturbed the bid astatine her residence and created fearfulness for her safety.
Based connected the complaint, constabulary initially registered an NCR (No. 571/2025). Subsequently, aft obtaining support from the 24th ACMM Court, a ceremonial FIR was registered against Krishna and Mylarappa for transgression intimidation and intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace. In October past year, the complainant had filed a lawsuit against Mylarappa, accusing him of stalking and harassment.
