A escaped oculus screening campy was organised by Pfizer Healthcare India Pvt Ltd., successful collaboration with the Sankar Foundation, nether its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, astatine Pedamushidiwada successful Parawada mandal, Anakapalle territory connected Wednesday.
Doctors Y. Lakshmi and M. Pravalika from the Sankar Foundation screened 523 patients astatine the camp. Spectacles were prescribed for 380 of them, and 342 were fixed glasses connected the spot. Spectacles would beryllium delivered to the remaining beneficiaries soon. Cataract surgeries and procedures were recommended for 55 patients and 174 patients were fixed medicines.
