Four members of a household died erstwhile the extortion of their location collapsed owed to dense rainfall and upwind successful Moratagi colony adjacent Almel successful Vijayapura territory of Karnataka connected May 14 night.
The deceased are Gurunath Badiger, 35, his woman Jyoti Badiger, 28, and their children Kalamma, 13, and Keerthi, 9.
The victims had temporarily shifted to a rented location arsenic they were repairing their home. Due to dense rainfall and wind, the extortion collapsed connected them portion they were asleep. All 4 were trapped nether the debris and had nary mode to escape.
The neighbours saw the bodies connected May 15 morning.
Fire and exigency services unit cleared the debris and recovered the bodies.
Officials from Sindagi Police Station visited the village, inspected the site, and arranged for post-mortem of the bodies. A lawsuit has been registered.
M. B. Patil, territory in-charge Minister, expressed condolences, and promised to sojourn the spot connected May 15.
