‘Four new codes have simplified complex, overlapping labour legislation’

Four caller labour codes person simplified the analyzable and overlapping labour legislation. The labour codes were developed aft years of deliberation, said Regional Labour Commissioner (Central), Madurai, Pravin Pandi Mohandas, present connected Friday.

Addressing the gathering astatine the predisposition programme organised by the Press Information Bureau for journalists and students of journalism, Mr. Pravin spoke connected the taxable ‘Decoding the caller labour codes: A way to modern compliance’.

He said that with the 4 caller labour codes: The Code connected Wages, 2019; The Code connected Social Security, 2020; The Industrial Relations Code, 2020; The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (OSH) Code, 2020; the reforms aimed to simplify compliance, grow sum and modernise the labour instrumentality framework. Multiple laws were replaced by a simplified azygous framework.
