Four more arrested for robbing Theni native of ₹50 lakh near Coimbatore

The Coimbatore District Police person arrested 4 much persons attached to a pack that robbed a Theni autochthonal of ₹50 lakh adjacent Perur connected October 18.

N. Dharmaraj, 32, of Karuppayurani successful Madurai, B. Venkatprabhu, 25, of Sellur successful Madurai, M. PichaImalai, 24, of Arasanoor successful Sivagangai territory and R. Hariprasath, 31, of Narasipuram adjacent Alandurai successful Coimbatore territory were arrested connected Friday. The constabulary seized a car and 4 sovereigns of golden from them.

The constabulary had arrested S. Alagupandi, 31, V. Gobi, 28, and V. Murugan alias Kutti, 27, each from LKP Nagar astatine Sakkimangalam successful Madurai district, connected October 19 and recovered ₹2.51 lakh from them. Two others, namely Arun Kumar, 25, and Muthutamil Maran,19, of Arasanoor successful Sivagangai district, were arrested from Chennai connected October 22.

Vijay, 26, of Cumbum successful Theni territory lodged a complaint, alleging that much than 10 persons robbed him of ₹50 lakh adjacent Madhampatty. According to the police, Dharmaraj lured Vijay to Coimbatore, promising him to put 200 sovereigns of aged golden ornaments for ₹50 lakh.
