Four houses burgled near Arani

Burglars decamped 30 sovereigns of golden jewellery, 2 kgs of metallic objects and ₹50,000 currency from 4 houses of weavers astatine Mamandur colony adjacent Arani municipality successful Tiruvannamalai connected Saturday.

Police said the victims were identified arsenic K. Anandan (36), V. Ramasamy (39), S. Balaji (39) and R. Vinod Kumar (28). They are weavers successful the village.
