Former Assam Congress chief Bhupen Borah resigns from party ahead of Assembly polls

In a large jolt to the Congress up of the Assembly polls successful Assam, the party's erstwhile State portion main Bhupen Kumar Borah has resigned, according to sources.

Sources said Mr. Borah has sent his resignation missive to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. In his missive to Mr. Kharge, helium claimed that helium was being "ignored" by the enactment enactment and was not being accorded his owed successful the State unit.
