Former AIADMK MLA and the party’s commercialized national caput R. Chinnasamy joined the DMK successful the beingness of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin connected Wednesday (December 3, 2025).

Mr. Chinnasamy, who was elected from the Singanallur Assembly constituency, was the caput of the Anna Thozhirsanga Peravai, a commercialized national affiliated with the AIADMK.

He was elected 2 times from the constituency.
