(Ms.) No. 343 issued by the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (PR-2(1)) Department connected December 5, 2025, 3 colony panchayats successful Anthiyur, Sathyamangalam and Thalavadi taluks were bifurcated and reorganised into 12 abstracted colony panchayats. The authorities bid was published successful the Erode District Gazette (Special Issue No. 49) connected December 13, 2025.
Subsequently, objections and representations were invited from the nationalist betwixt December 13, 2025 and January 3, 2026. Grievance redressal meetings were conducted connected January 3 and January 7 successful the respective taluks, during which further objections were received. After examining the petitions and objections, the District Collector recommended definite revisions, peculiarly regarding the transportation of hamlets to the respective Village Panchayats.

Newly formed panchayats nether the Anthiyur Panchayat Union were Bargur, Kuttaiyur, Thamaraikarai, Devarmalai, Kovilnatham, nether the Thalavadi Panchayat Union were Thalavadi and Doddagajanur and under the Sathyamangalam Panchayat Union were Kadambur, Pavalakuttai, Iruttipalayam, Karalayam, and Arigiyam.
