Food and Civil Supplies Minister R. Sakkarapani continued to inspect nonstop acquisition centres (DPCs) successful the Delta districts for the 2nd consecutive time connected Friday.

The Minister’s sojourn comes amidst complaints implicit sluggish question of paddy from the DPCs to godowns. Mr. Sakkarapani visited assorted DPCs successful Nagapattinam and Tiruvarur districts connected Friday and verified the procurement process. Earlier, Mr. Sakkarapani, accompanied by Satyabrata Sahoo, Principal Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies, A. Annadurai, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, and P. Akash, District Collector, inspected the operations of DPCs astatine Thirupoondi West and Seeyathamangai, according to an authoritative property release.
