State-run aerospace behemoth Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) connected Thursday (February 5, 2026) said 5 Tejas airy combat craft are afloat acceptable for transportation to the Indian Air Force.

In February 2021, the Defence Ministry sealed a ₹48,000 crore woody with HAL for the procurement of 83 Tejas Mk-1A jets for the IAF.
