Five militants belonging to antithetic groups were arrested successful Manipur, constabulary said connected Wednesday (February 25, 2026).
Three members of the People’s Liberation Army and 1 of the PREPAK (PRO) were apprehended from the vicinity of Yangoubung colony adjacent the Myanmar borderline successful Tengnoupal territory connected Tuesday (February 24), they said.
A subordinate of PREPAK was apprehended from Thoubal Haokha Mamang successful Thoubal district, they added.
In different operation, arms and ammunition were recovered from Nungai Hill successful Imphal East district, constabulary said.
Among them were a country-made rifle, a 9 mm pistol, a manus grenade, and 5 .303 ammunition, they said.
