Five convicted in 2005 overseas job scam investigated by CBI

The Chief Judicial Magistrate Court successful Coimbatore, which is the Special Court for CBI cases, connected Thursday convicted 5 persons successful an overseas occupation recruitment scam dating backmost to 2005.

Judge K. Sivakumar awarded 14 years of imprisonment and a full good of ₹56 lakh to P.C. Cherian of Mumbai, Francis Arun alias Kiran Chandrasekar of Kochi, Asha Sharlet alias Priya Dharmaraj of Kochi and Santhosh William of Palakkad. Four years of imprisonment was awarded to Preetha Kumari of Kochi.
