The Central Crime Branch (CCB) has registered an FIR against 5 persons, including the main accountant of a backstage school, successful transportation with alleged large-scale fiscal irregularities and misappropriation of funds amounting to ₹4 crore astatine the Kamala Muniyappa Educational Trust, which has been moving an acquisition instauration since 2010.

The lawsuit was registered based connected a ailment lodged by Ashoka K.M., proprietor of Edify School operated by the trust.

According to the complaint, the accused were required to support due accounts and taxable them for audit, but allegedly failed to bash so.
