Researchers from the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) person recorded 2 instances of incidental seizure of Widenose Guitarfish (Glaucostegus obtusus), a protected species, during regular visits to food landing centres. The uncommon taxon were subsequently released backmost into the sea.
