Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who represents Karnataka successful Rajya Sabha, has offered ₹5 crore from her MPLADS for expanding the neonatal intensive attraction portion (NICU) astatine Shivamogga Institute of Medical Sciences successful Shivamogga, B.Y. In a property league successful Shivamogga, Mr. Raghavendra said helium had requested the Union Minister for authorisation of grants nether the MP Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS), considering the needs of the SIMS, which has grown into a large tertiary attraction centre for the radical successful Shivamogga and neighbouring districts. The Union Minister accepted his petition and wrote a missive to the Deputy Commissioner of Bengaluru Urban District recommending the funds for NICU successful Shivamogga.
