Farmers to launch indefinite agitation demanding payment of sugarcane dues

The State Sugarcane Growers’ Association has threatened to motorboat an indefinite agitation successful beforehand of the Deputy Commissioner’s bureau successful Mysuru from April 21 to request outgo of sugarcane dues to farmers by sweetener factories.

Association president Kurubur Shanthakumar said an further ₹100 per tonne fixed by the State authorities should beryllium paid instantly to the farmers by Bannari Amman and Mahadeshwara sweetener factories.
