Farmers seek uniform paddy procurement norms, blame Supplyco

Farmers nether the banner of the Desiya Karshaka Samajam person urged the Civil Supplies Corporation (Supplyco) to procure the full paddy output produced successful the State.

According to farmers, Supplyco has been refusing to procure paddy beyond 2,500 kg per acre, adjacent though yields successful respective fields person gone up to 3,000 kg per acre. Farmers said the regularisation was causing hardships to them.
