Farmer injured in elephant attack in Thalavadi

A 72-year-old husbandman suffered superior injuries aft being attacked by a chaotic elephant successful the Thalavadi hills connected Sunday night.

Matheppa of Gumtapuram was guarding his workplace erstwhile an elephant strayed retired of the dense wood successful the Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve and entered his field. On proceeding noise, helium woke up and was shocked to find the carnal wrong the workplace premises. As helium attempted to flee, the agitated elephant attacked him, leaving him with a fractured limb and aggregate injuries.
