Fadnavis backs ex-CJI amid row over meeting with Dhirendra Shastri

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday came retired successful enactment of erstwhile Chief Justice of India (CJI) B.R. Gavai after helium courted contention and faced disapproval for meeting Dhirendra Shastri, main clergyman of the Bageshwar Dham in Madhya Pradesh.

Social activistic and founder-president of the Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti Shyam Manav criticised Justice Gavai over his gathering with Mr. Shastri, saying, “He [CJI Gavai] has nary close to invoke the sanction of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.”
