External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and his woman Kyoko connected Tuesday offered worship astatine Sri Iravatheswarar temple astatine Darasuram successful Thanjavur district.
The temple, which is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), is situated connected the outskirts of Kumbakonam.
ASI officials explained the salient features of the temple architecture to the Minister and his wife.
