Extend benefits of TAPS to panchayat secretaries: Vasan

TMC (Moopanar) president G.K. Vasan connected Sunday urged the State authorities to widen the benefits of the Tamil Nadu Assured Pension Scheme (TAPS), precocious introduced for authorities employees, to panchayat secretaries. He pointed to the protests being organised by the relation of panchayat secretaries for the past 5 days, pressing a slew of demands, and condemned their detention by the police.
