A technological seminar successful Hindi connected “Ocean Health and Sustainable Development: Challenges and Solutions” was organised by ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT), Visakhapatnam Research, connected Thursday.

The seminar was inaugurated by G.V.M.Gupta, Scientist-G, NCCR, and erstwhile Director, CMLRE, participated arsenic main guest. He stressed connected the value of sustainable water development, the request for knowing and studying resources and sustainable exploitation of them successful India’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and planetary waters.

B. Madhusudana Rao, Scientist-in-charge ICAR-CIFT, emphasised the relation of oceans successful quality wellness and bluish economy. He stressed the request to support oceans for a amended future.

U. Sreedhar, Principal-Scientist, ICAR-CIFT, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the value of organising a technological seminar successful Hindi. He introduced the topic, outlined the challenges and hoped that the deliberations output tangible solutions.

A full of 13 presentations successful Hindi were made by respective institutes moving successful the country of oceans and fisheries namely CSIR-NIO, ICAR-CMFRI, NCCR, State section of Fisheries, EIA, MPEDA, FSI, NIFPHATT, CIFNET, Andhra University (Marine Living Resources and Zoology departments), GITAM University and ICAR-CIFT. This was followed by poster presentations by assemblage students representing St. Joseph College for women, Gayatri Vidya Parishad, Andhra University-MLR Department, St. Ann’s College for Women, Dr. Lankapalli Bullaya College, successful Hindi connected the topic.

Dr. GVM Gupta, released a leaflet successful Hindi titled “ICAR-CIFT: A Glimpse” that highlights the achievements of Visakhapatnam Research centre of ICAR-CIFT.
