Sankara Nethralaya connected Wednesday inaugurated an ‘Experience Centre for People with Low Vision’ successful collaboration with Enablemart (TorchIt) during Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2026 celebrations.
The centre, inaugurated by president T.S. Surendran, is dedicated to assistive technologies and accessibility solutions for persons with debased vision.
The instauration besides launched the ‘SN Vision Support Club’ to supply reading, scribe, navigation and audiobook enactment services for visually impaired persons. The lawsuit besides featured a speech by accessibility advocator Amit Chaturvedi connected inclusion and accessibility for persons with ocular impairment.
