Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre was unanimously elected president of the All India Veerashaiva Mahasabha connected Tuesday.
He was elected president pursuing the demise of elder Congress person and Mahasabha president Shamanur Shivashankarappa recently.
Mr. Khandre’s elevation to the station of the president was announced by erstwhile IPS and Mahasabha Karnataka portion president Shankar Bidari.
