Engineering college students plant palmyrah seeds

Students of the NSS Unit of Anjalai Ammal Mahalingam Engineering College, Kovilvenni, planted palmyrah seeds on Tiruchi-Thanjavur-Nagapattinam Highway connected Tuesday, October 14.

According to a Green Needa property release, the saplings were planted for astir 5 km connected some sides of the carriageway. The seeds plantation formed portion of the ‘Planting of 1 crore palmyrah seeds successful Delta region’, a task executed by Green Needa successful relation with the Tamil Nadu State NSS, State Forest Department and Bharathidasan University NSS.
