ED arrests former RCom director Punit Garg

The Enforcement Directorate’s Special Task Force has arrested Punit Garg, a erstwhile manager of Reliance Communications Limited (RCom) successful transportation with implicit ₹40,000-crore alleged slope fraud and money-laundering charge, it said connected Friday (January 30, 2026).

“In particular, it was recovered that Proceeds of Crime were diverted for the acquisition of a luxury condominium flat successful Manhattan, New York (USA). This spot was sold during the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) of RCom fraudulently by Punit Garg.
