The Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued show-cause notices to 10 recognised governmental parties successful Chennai territory for failing to taxable audited accounts of predetermination expenditure for 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24.
The parties see the All India MGR Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam, Christian Democratic Front, Jebamani Janata Party, Kamarajar Deseeya Congress, Makkal Sakthi Katchi, Puthiya Tamilagam, India Kudiyarasu Katchi (Sivaraj), Thamizhaga Munnetra Congress, and Valamaana Tamizhagam Katchi.
“Despite repeated directions, the accounts were not filed wrong the stipulated time. The Commission has warned that nonaccomplishment to respond could pb to withdrawal of recognition,” a property merchandise stated.
