Eatery owner booked for injuring cow in Yedapadavu

The proprietor of an eatery successful Yedapadavu successful Bajpe constabulary limits was booked for injuring a cattle with a weapon portion trying to shoo it distant from his eatery connected January 11.

The Bajpe constabulary besides registered a lawsuit against the proprietor of the cattle for abandoning it connected the roadworthy nether unsafe circumstances.

The constabulary said the cattle came to the eatery erstwhile customers, including respective Ayappa veshadharis, were eating. The eatery proprietor brandished a room weapon portion trying to thrust the cattle away. In doing so, the cattle was injured connected its nose.

The Bajpe constabulary registered a suo-motu lawsuit against the eatery proprietor Umarabba, nether Section 11(1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, for hurting the cow. The proprietor of the cow, Sudhakar Gowda, was besides booked for offences nether Sections 11(h) (owner failing to supply capable food, portion oregon structure to an animal) and 11(i) (owner abandoning an animal, without tenable cause) of the aforesaid act, the constabulary said.
