A magnitude 7 earthquake struck the Vanuatu Islands connected Monday (March 30, 2026), the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.
The U.S. Tsunami Warning Center said determination was nary tsunami menace from the earthquake.
The quake was at a extent of 130 km (80 miles), GFZ said.
